Industrial Visits
The students are taken for industrial visits so that they get an insight of internal working environment of companies. Industry visits prepare students to the sensible challenges that organizations face within the business world. Industrial visits also give greater clarity about various management concepts for college students as they will practically see how these concepts are put into action. Visits to manufacturing firms are useful for students to know the nuances and realities of the workplace, this in itself may be a rare exposure. By visiting the workplace they get to know the precarious conditions during which workers work, the people management challenges involved in managing workers aside from getting hands-on Technical Knowledge.
Every year many industrial visits are organized by PMTC.
Parle Food Products
Poddar Management and Technical Campus organized one day (19 Oct 2019) Industrial Visit at Parle Food Products, Nimrana, Alwar. This visit was for MBA Ist Year Students. HR gave brief introduction about the company and production process. They started the session with a video presentation about the company and its various products and their production process. After that the students are taken for a visit to the production plant. They have a unique procedure for production process. They also offered students for internship programme after their completion of MBA 1 sem. The visit was successful and fruitful for students.

Frubon (Dev Milk Foods Pvt. Ltd.)
MBA I Semester students of Poddar Management and Technical Campus visited the production plant of Dev Milk Foods (with products under brand Frubon) at Mahindra World City and observed their production and supply chain management activities.
Students, along with faculty members Adv. Khushbu Goyal and CA Mukesh Jangid had an interactive session with Unit Head Mr. Ashok Sharma regarding the organization’s profile and products including ice creams, milk and other dairy products. They also interacted with Mr. Rahul Sharma (Deputy Manager- Ice Cream Division) and Mr. Mohammad Shahid (Plant Manager), where they discussed details of product development, production design, plant management and logistics.
Students were divided into two groups. Each group was taken on a guided tour of the Milk Products and Ice Cream facilities respectively. They were briefed about the machines, processes and management of the facilities. They also had a QnA session where students discussed various aspects including production, marketing and plant management with the managers of the facility.
